Being a diabetic person, it is very crucial for me to watch every foods I put inside my mouth. One mistake could make my A1C level very high. That is the reason why I am careful with what I eat and the amount of it as well. Here are some tips that helps me manage my blood sugar level successfully:

1. Sit back and relax.
It's easy to lose track of how much you're actually eating when standing at the refrigerator or pantry. If you have healthy snacks with you, you're less likely to skip a snack or run to the vending machine.
2. Jump-start your healthy habit with the Carb Choices Calculator.
3. Go for convenience. Glucerna products make the perfect snack! The unique blends of slowly digestible carbs help minimize blood sugar spikes, which can lower A1C.

Two Ingredients. One Nutritious Snack. Tasty Ways to Find Balance Try these delicious and simple snacking.

Strawberries and cheese
Carrots or celery with fat-free dressing

It's been awhile since I last post an update her; I think it is time for a new one...sorry, guys for I have been busy with other thing and didn't get a chance to write something here. Anyway, during our last week's trip to my in-laws place, we did a lot of walking at the Carlsbad Caverns Cave...whew, that was a total of four hours walk; glad we made it back where we started. Then, more walk the day before we left for home. We went mountain climbing at the Bandelier National Forest. No, wonder why my legs, feet and back ached like crazy; but I definitely loss weight and made my blood sugar level down to normal, yay! Indeed exercising helps our body healthy, strong and lean! I am glad I didn't those walking with my family :-)!

Everything Looks Great!

My doctor's visit today went well; the lab work result looked great! Everything was fine except the Prograf level in my blood. Prograf is one of the three anti rejection medicines I've been talking since the transplant and will probably take for as long as the kidney is working well. My Nephrologist increased the dosage of it from .5mg twice a day to .5mg in the morning and 1mg before bed. Then, I will need to come back for labwork to see /check whether the level is back to normal again...and a follow up visit two months later. Hubby and I together with my fave nurse, Sandy and Dr. Lerman were happy! Yay, my health is improving and I have my energy back! He gave me an Epogen shot though.

I Am A Homebody Type

You Are Flannel Pajamas

You seek comfort above everything else. You rather feel good than look good.

You are a very relaxed person, especially when you're surrounded by your favorite things and people.

You are a homebody. Home is the place where you can truly be yourself.

You are likely to wear pajamas a lot. In fact, you often change into your pj's the minute you get home!
