A Perfect Pant for ME!

Posted by Cecile at 12/26/2011 12:00:00 PM 0 comments
On Christmas eve, we decided to open our presents instead of Christmas morning just like we always do. If I were to decide when to open our gifts, I'd rather do it the usual day we do which is Christmas morning. Oh well,  for a change, I agreed with hubby to do it on Christmas day because Jacob has tons of gifts to open. I love that my mother in-law thoughtful gift for me, but I wished he had given me a gift card so I can buy something I like and one I'd actually use. But instead she gave me a blouse from her Fave boutique. Honestly, I didn't like the blouse not to mention the color and style of it. Had she bought me carhartt pants at dungarees.net, then I would probably love it. We will be going for a four day family get away at Branson, Missouri and that pants would be a perfect pants for me to wear since it is winter and cold.

Food and Diet on Holiday

Posted by Cecile at 12/25/2011 12:14:00 PM 2 comments
Our Christmas was spent at friends house this year. And we had so much fun! I like that we don't get to cook, clean up. I just brought a dish to share. After eating, we did talk,  sang karaoke, and watched the kids play and sing as well. On New year's eve, we have the same just because January first is my friend's birthday. It would be celebrated together with hubby's and Earnest birthday as well which fall on January. Anyway, we are all excited for it and for our trip to Branson this week. With all these special occasions, there would be plenty of foods. I need to take it easy on sweets, carbs and fats to avoid blood sugar spikes. Hubby and I plan to sart dieting after New Year comes.

Work at Home Business

Posted by Cecile at 12/20/2011 04:51:00 PM 0 comments
Honestly speaking, I am not a kind of person who would stay in the house and be happy. I love to go outside and enjoy the life out there. I'd like to do what I used to do when I was still single which was work a full time job and be independent again. Don't get me wrong, I love being with my family, but I also want to make use of my time wisely by doing productive things when they are at work and school. I feel kind of bored spending my spare time alone....especially at home. I told my husband that I need to do something or I'll lose my sanity. We both agreed that I can do something productive and earn money at the same time while I stay home. I then thought of making some fashion jewelry and sell them to my friends. Now, I need to look for jewelry tools that I can use if I have to start this business. The sooner I get these tools, the sooner I can start making jewelry. I hope I'll succeed on this one....that way, I don't need to find job outside home.

Homes for Rent in Austin, Texas

About five years ago, my husband got laid off from his work of ten years. We've looked for work anywhere, from Utah, Louisiana, Virginia to Austin, Texas. We were looking for the same job he had for ten years. There was an opening at Samsung in Austin, and so we drove there to see the location and how were the surrounding areas look like. After driving all around the city proper, we considered moving there. While there, we took the opportunity to look on homes for rent austin texas. There were some available within the vicinity of Samsung manufacturing company which was very good. But then, we got job offer the we couldn't resist from a semiconductor company in VA and moved there as soon as we can. Our moved wasn't as stressful as we thought it would be since the company moved us there. To make the story short, our one year stay in VA wasn't bad at all, in fact we liked it there so much that to this day, we still want to move back there someday.

Deli Food Made Us Sick

Posted by Cecile at 12/17/2011 09:05:00 AM 0 comments
Last night, we decided to do some grocery shopping for the dinner I will make on Sunday for my friend who gave birth to a baby boy. I have promised her that I will bring them dinners as soon as the baby is born. While at the store, I told hubby that I feel like eating rotisserie chicken for dinner. And so we did. We bought fried chicken instead since the boys want it. With chicken, we also got some okra stew to go with it. When we got home, we ate our dinner right away for we were all staving. To our dismayed, the fried chicken was dried and the okra was good compared to the ones at Pops Chicken in Terrel.

Early this morning, I started to pass gas followed by stomachache similar to what we got when we went to the Philippines this summer. With that experienced at Brookshire, we decided that that would be our first and last time to get some food at their deli. My good husband gave me a fiber rich drink, and I feel a little better now. Thank goodness I am home. I hate it when it hits me while outside. I am glad J didn't get what we got because he didn't eat as much.

Can You Stop Collection Calls?

Posted by Cecile at 12/14/2011 04:58:00 PM 0 comments
Apparently, the answer is yes. However, the big question is, “What are collection calls?” Well, if you owned a credit card and have the habit of making late payments, then most probably you have an idea what collection calls are. You get these phone calls from so-called collection agents who try to get you to pay off your debts.

If there were one word to describe these collection calls, it would have to be harassing. Indeed, there are collection agents who are so rude when placing these calls. Some would even resort to using abusive speech. The thing is just because you have fallen behind on some of your payables doesn’t give these agents the right to talk to you that way. The FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection Practices Act clearly states that a collector cannot make any kind of threats or use abusive language on a debtor.

Collectors are supposed to abide by the guidelines of the FDCPA. Therefore, if you feel that debt collectors who act against FDCPA guidelines are violating your rights as a consumer, then you should call fair debt collection lawyers for help. You could relate your experiences to the lawyers and ask advice on how to stop collection calls. You’d be surprised with the extent that these lawyers would help you.

Get Noticed Because of Your Scrubs

Posted by Cecile at 12/14/2011 04:51:00 PM 0 comments
Having a medical profession would require you to have a large inventory of scrub sets in your closet. Opting for one or two sets is inadvisable, since fabric is prone to wear and tear. Through continuous washing, the fabric could soon wear out. Hence, it would be wise for you to put in your money in several pairs of scrubs that you can wear to work.

In case you’re looking for a place where you can buy purple scrubs, you can find awesome scrubs in an array of colors at http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. This online store specializes in scrubs, so you can surely get the sets you need at affordable prices. You can even buy scrub sets for less than $100.00. Some scrubs even bear branded labels. The store offers a wide variety of choices in terms of design and color.

Most nurses, doctors, and laboratory technicians prefer scrubs to the traditional medical uniform, since hospital scrubs uniforms are more comfortable to wear. These scrubs use light fabric, so it allows its wearer to move freely. Scrub sets are most preferred because it allows for versatility and flexibility, and since doctors and nurses are often on their feet, they really need to wear something that lets them move about without restraint.

Shopping for Christmas

Posted by Cecile at 12/06/2011 10:38:00 PM 0 comments
I have a friend who is an avid fan of Victoria Secret products. She buys perfumes, and lingerie a lot. And because of that, she became a valued customer thus giving her privilege of getting coupons by mail. And so every time she goes to the mall, she uses victoria’s secret coupons saving her a lot! She even gets a free underwear every so often. She is such a lucky gal. I would like the save some money, too. Next time we go to Victoria Secret store, I am going to get myself some lotions and maybe a perfume of my choice. Wait a minute, tomorrow I can get some stuff for my friends, maybe their gifts this coming Christmas. I better give her a call to see what her fave perfume so I can surprise her on Christmas.

Customer Service

Since when did all customer service move online? Everyone from my internet service provider to my phone company is offering en email or chat customer service option now. Most of the time it’s really convenient because I don’t have to stay on the phone forever waiting for a customer service representative to become available. It’s nice to send an email and get a response letting you know how to fix the problem. Part of me is still having a hard time getting used to it. The other day my cable TV service went out, and it was late at night. The only way I could get customer service was online. I had to chat online with someone who was giving me instructions on how to reset my cable box. It was really frustrating because when we were troubleshooting I had to keep on going back and forth from my computer to my TV. If we were talking on the phone, I would have been able to do everything at once and it would’ve taken less time. I guess I’m just going to have to get used to this new phenomenon.

Done Shopping for Christmas

Today, I spent more than three hours shopping for gifts at Costco. The longest time I have spent shopping in just one store! Why? Because I was waiting for my husband who was at his dentist's appointment. At first I thought I would not be very bored, but I was wrong. I have looked for t-shirts, coats, pajamas, books and toys all over the store, but hubby was still nowhere to be found. He was at the clinic for three hours! I cannot believe it! He said they took him in as soon as he got there. They did exams x-ray, cleaning and put temporary crown, but still I think it was way too long. Good thing I bought all the things I needed to finish my gifts shopping; now I can relax after sending the packages and Christmas cards tomorrow. I would sure have a stress-free Christmas celebration this year. What about you?

A Great Christmas Gift

Christmas is fast approaching and there is no better gift to give to my niece who loves to play guitar than a  vox ac15. It would be nice to hear her play his guitar with this guitar combo amp. Actually would this be a gift for her three sisters, too for they all love music and playing guitar. When I was in the Philippines this summer, I have witnessed how they sang well with the guitar and organ accompaniment...sounds great great. They were like a band. There were singer and musical instruments players. If they pursue their talents in singing and playing these instruments, they could form a band called "The Sisters."

More Indoor Projects for Me!

About two weeks ago, a friend of mine at church sent me an invitation for vinyl decal party at her house. I like vinyl decal to decorate my house, and so I was excited when I received the invitation, but for some unavoidable reason, I missed that event :-(. I could have learned more about it and how can I use it for address plaques. Good thing, I've found addressplaques.net for address plaques; now I don't have to worry about making address plaque for my house. I really like the first vinyl I have place on our living room wall. It looks good! I will definitely make more projects as soon as we finished painting all the rooms in our house. It would be a big project, but would be worth the time and money :-).

Treatment for His Back Pain

Lately, my husband has been working hard both at home and work. I don't know where he got those energy, but I sure would like to have some of those energy. He works 12 hours a day for 4 days, and during his days off....he paints our house and do some of the chores I couldn't do due to sickness. Now, he complains about his pain in the back. Medicines can relieve the pain and so I tried to give him a massage but it didn't do anything to ease the pain. I just wished we can afford to pay for laser treatment for back pain so that he wouldn't not suffer anymore on back pain. The only thing I can think of is that rubbing some medicated lotion on his back to help ease the pain.

Halloween Costumes

Posted by Cecile at 11/14/2011 02:08:00 AM 0 comments
We had celebrated Halloween not too long ago and I realized that purchasing Halloween costumes after the celebration is way cheaper. My husband and I decided to look around the different stores in our town but can’t find any costumes to our liking. While scanning some websites earlier this evening, I have visited a website which provides discounted Halloween costumes for the men and women out there such as plus size costumes, couple costumes, men’s costumes, Halloween accessories and many more. Also, they sell other products including handbag and belts, jewelry, hosiery and socks, hats, scarves and gloves and a lot more.

I would really like to invest into some great costumes for Halloween next year especially that I can get the costumes way cheaper right now plus I can also get a discount. I am super excited because I found so many costumes to my liking such as Tavern Maiden costume, Olympic Goddess costume, All American Player costume, Geisha costumes and so forth. Look no further, check this out today and let me know what you think about this website!

Worry - Free Catastrophic Claims

Catastrophic insurance is designed to protect the consumer from financial disaster in the case of a serious medical emergency. Most often catastrophic claims go on a red tape before an insurer could get an indemnity. Stop Loss Underwriting, and do not compromise repayments which are due.

Avail the services of a group of medical experts to help you take a closer look on the cost containment of a catastrophic claim, disputes and true cost of the claim. You can be confident for guaranteed personal support in clinical and financial services they provide. Trained personnels will handle your account with an accurate and fast assessment of whether or not it is advantageous to take on such healthcare providers.

A medical consulting service could provide us with important facts and details, as well as guidelines. They will act as an intermediary that can support communication among healthcare providers and other outside parties. They also provide underwriting consultation and analysis for possible cost projection and assessment for complicated medical patients. They can also provide quick help in Medicare re-pricing and the percentage you can save on any given claim.

Home Carpet Cleaning

Installing home carpets adds beauty and gives a homey feeling for the family. However, maintenance of keeping it fresh and odor free gives us a hard time. Dust settles into it day by day, food crumbs, stuff spillage especially when toddlers are around accumulates into it too.

Our bedrooms were installed of carpets that I vacuum it daily to maintain cleanliness, but over the years I noticed that it is getting harder to clean it using a vacuum cleaner. Some dirt was not totally collected as it remained and settled deeper. I tried washing it using a carpet shampoo but it only worsen my problem, as it dried the beauty of it vanished. I came across http://www.thesteamteam.com, a company that specializes in carpet cleaning. I came to know that there are many ways to clean a carpet aside from the conventional vacuum cleaner. They recommend the best cleaning method for home and commercial carpets as well.

A home carpet absorbs cooking odors, and as your carpet accumulate such odors, in the long run the house will stink too. To add more, our pets leave their danders, dust mites and other allergens sticks into it, a healthy home carpet cleaning austin is using the latest technology that will help safely and effectively neutralize odors and deeply clean home carpets.

Deep down stains and odors can be remove, even flood damaged carpets can be restored through high pressure steam cleaning. Alas! carpet grooming is no longer a problem. Investments in availing high pressure steam cleaning can last by applying a carpet protectant, as it keeps the carpet fresher, longer.

A pastime to promote relaxation and enjoyment is a recreational activity. Experts suggest it to enhance the physical and mental progress among growing kids. Such activities may be indoor or outdoor, depending on one’s special interest.

Mind boggling games like puzzles, mazes, board games and online games are examples of indoor recreational activities. It is also considered as a form of exercise at the same time refreshes the mind and body after a week of hectic work and schooling schedule. Outdoor activities like basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer and swimming are its common examples.

For people who have the passion to extreme sports and exciting games, they resort to Paintball and Airsoft Pistol. These games bring so much excitement, entertainment and amusement, a sport enjoyed by all ages. Both of these games require a lot of body movements as it simulates a combat among opposing players, an airsoft gun was used to closely emulate real guns in which participants shoot round non-metallic pellets launched via replica guns, however some countries observe legal restrictions in owning it. On the other hand, Paintball uses water-soluble dye shot in capsules from air guns. Precautions for the eyes and face safety must be observed in these sports.

Save Using Coupons

I have been talking to my friends how much they are saving using coupons and it got e interested to it. Just like them, I would like to save some bucks, too. I am glad they are helpful enough to share some tips on how to use coupons effectively. And guess what? I have been doing it for almost a month now, but still feel like I need to learn more. I started saving some money and my husband who is skeptical about it was impressed. Now, he finally agreed with me that we need to do it especially how much we have save in just less than a month. I tell you, when it comes to this....you need to be patient. Coupons are available free online, flyers, newspapers and even pharmacies. Would you believe me if I tell you that you can use coupons on buying flowers, too? Yup!  Why don't you try Proflowers coupons when you buy flowers for your friend, loved ones or even for yourself? Flowers are expensive, too and you will need coupons in order to save some bucks. I've use it before and I felt glad. Try using coupons and start saving.

Using Safety Equipments for Your Pool

Parents do everything they can to ensure the safety of their children. Even if they are just at home, parents are aware of the things and situations that may be hazardous to their children. The family’s swimming pool can be a source of a lot of bonding moments for a family. But it can also be a place where a number of accidents can happen. Younger children are naturally attracted to the water which is why they are most likely to go near a swimming pool. Responsible pool owners need to have all the safety pool equipments including pool safety nets to ensure the occurrence of accidents especially to unsupervised children.

Nursing Uniforms

Posted by Cecile at 10/24/2011 05:01:00 PM 0 comments
A friend of mine who lives in Frisco just passed the Nursing Licensure Examination recently.  That is one of the big achievements in her life.  Right after she received her license, she began to apply for a job in hospitals around the area of her residence.  Because of some circumstances, she had to accept a job in a doctor’s office.  She was very happy to get the position.  Excitedly, my friend asked me if I know a place where she can buy nursing uniforms.  I had no idea but to tell her to check for scrubs online.  My friend found a couple of women scrubs to wear to her new job.

It is a big help to find nursing uniforms online.  No need to drive farther and shop around town.  Instead, you just choose your fitting and order the style and color you like.  Plus, you can make it a custom fit for you.  More selection to chose from and different types of quality fabric to consider.  With their affordable prices, the scrubs are for a grab.  Wearing them adds motivation every time you go to work.

Lucchese, His Dream Boots

Posted by Cecile at 10/17/2011 05:41:00 PM 0 comments
In two months time, it will be winter again. I am excited because I would be able to wear my boots again. Too bad we only have to enjoy cold season for three months. No wonder my boots still looks new! My son on the other hand can wear his cowboy shoes anytime of the year. He can even wear it at school and at church. I see some women wear their boots anytime of the day, even on summer. Oh well, they know fashion better than I do :-). Anyway, the other day, hubby told me how much he would love to have a pair of mens boots. He particularly mention the lucchese brand. I know now where to get his dream boots. I may even find an all the time boots that I can wear just like those women. Honestly, it looks good on them. I have checked one of the website where they sell not only lucchese mens boots, but also cowboy hats, equestrian clothing, home decor, apparel and more. So, to my dear husband, your Christmas gift will be on the way soon. It will be a surprise gift....so you will need to wait till you open it on Christmas day.

Our Best Option

Posted by Cecile at 10/12/2011 10:45:00 AM 0 comments
About a month ago, my brother back home told me that his laptop's battery is worn out and needs a replacement. He asked me if I can buy a new battery for him. I said: I would gladly do that but he needs to wait till Christmas or December when I send the package for Mom and Dad. He said: No problem. The reason why he had to ask me for the battery is that he lives far away from the city and it 's kind of expensive for him to buy it himself. Good thing the he is using now is still working 'cause two more months is a long wait. Anyway, we do need rechargeable batteries and charger as well. Hubby and so play the wii games a lot using two controller; and so we can't afford to buy new batteries every time the batteries gone dead. I think that rechargeable batteries and and charger are our best option if we are to save money.

Specialty Stores for Tall Men

Posted by Cecile at 10/12/2011 10:04:00 AM 0 comments
Shopping for a tall man’s clothes must be frustrating. Of course, I wouldn’t know since my husband is not that tall. But I’m seeing really tall guys, those who measure more than 7 feet tall and I had to wonder how they manage to find big and tall clothing. Do they have a tailor who creates custom made clothes for them? I’m actually thinking that that is the best option. But I did read somewhere that there are stores these days where one can buy clothing specifically for those endowed with much height.

That’s one provision that tall guys can be thankful for. Imagine they wouldn’t have to go through mishaps and difficulties when shopping for their clothes. Gone are the days when a really tall man would walk into a store with a huge smile on his face only to come out minutes later with utter disappointment written all over his face. Now, there are specialty stores where items being sold are just right for big guys. What’s more, these stores are usually equipped with all the necessary stuff to make sure that all measurements are accurate and to work on alterations when the need arises.

On Cash Advances

Posted by Cecile at 10/11/2011 04:26:00 PM 0 comments
The U.S. economy is not doing well right now and almost everyone is affected by it. The price of everything is going up but the salary of every worker stays the same. How are we going to survive if the economic problem is not being handle carefully and quickly? Bills are filing up and the people are having hard time managing their finances because of the lack of budget. I am glad my family and I are fortunate enough to have savings to use at times like this. But how about who are living from paycheck to paycheck? I feel so sorry for them. I bet most of them relies on the companies who offer cash advances, otherwise they would be in deep debt in no time. Banks wouldn't give them a loan without checking their credit and everything to make sure they are capable of paying them back each month. This situation reminds me of home where I was borne and raised. In the country where I came from, they wouldn't give you a loan unless you are free from financial debt. In other words, it is the other way around. Anyway, thanks to the company who are kind enough to help those who are in need of financial help.

Moving to Detroit

Guest post written by Derick Burks

Moving to Detroit was one of the biggest decisions of my life but as an artist I felt like there were few places in the country that offered such affordable real estate and also so many opportunities to watch a community grow. I’m a photographer and since I moved here I’ve made it my life’s work to photograph all the dilapidated buildings around town and get the history of them, too. I think it’s really important for us to keep track of what’s happening here and that’s what I’m going to do even if I can’t make much money at it. I’ve got a great little house that I bought for literally pennies on the dollar and a ADT detroit system that makes me feel safer – Detroit isn’t exactly known for being low crime. I just can’t imagine living anywhere else and I love how integrated I feel with this community and its people. I’m hoping one day this city will be restored to its former glory so everyone can appreciate it like I do.

Me Forgettable? I Don't Think So!

yes I am very quiet and reserved that is why most people are intimidated by me. I don't know why. It is me, and if they don't like who I am..then that is fine with me. I will not change myself just to fit in. I will be me and nothing and no one can change that. I love being me. Yes, I have few friends but they are real friends. Friends who love and understand me for who I am and what I can offer to them. I know some people who are willing to change just because they wanted to fit in or gain lots of friends...and I am so sad for them. I don't want a complicated life for it gives me stress. I would rather be me rather than suffer for stress...which by the way stress is not healthy. It will make you unhappy and sick physically.

You Are Forgettable

You shouldn't be forgettable, but sometimes you blend too easily into the room.

You are quiet and reserved. You don't ever want to act too boldly or rashly.

It's easy for you to feel overwhelmed. You are very sensitive, and you prefer to stick to your comfort zone.

Those who know you best know that you have a lot to offer. You are as kind and as selfless as they come.

We Seriously Need A Paperless Office Software

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 05:03:00 PM 1 comments
It would be nice if we have a paperless office software at home that way it would be easier for us to organize important documents we keep in the office drawers. the drawers are overflowing right now and I've got no place to store or keep them. Hubby did his best to make our office/master bedroom organized, but no luck. It's either we need an office or a paperless office software. I think the last one is the best option for it is less expensive than renovating our house, lol. Maybe, when he retires from work, we would have our own home office for our son would be out for college. J's room will be converted into an office. Now, I better tell hubby about the coolness of having a paperless office software home. I am certain he would agree....for it is indeed a "must" in our home.

Halloween Costume

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 04:40:00 PM 0 comments
Halloween is past approaching and my son keeps bugging me about the costume he wanted to wear for trick or treating. So, the other day while shopping for groceries, hubby and I looked for a costume J likes which is Luigi that way it matches his friend's costume which is Mario. Yup, they wanted to be Mario Brothers :-). Good thing they have that costume. We bought it for  and we hid it so it would be a surprised. I am sure he'll be very happy when he finds out that we got him his costume already. Anyway, while there at the store, hubby and I were teasing each other as to what costume we would wear for Halloween. He laughed when I showed him the playboy bunny costume. Why? Because he knew that I would not wear it. Honestly, I can't imagine myself wearing it, that is not my type of costume and it won't look good one me either.

Goulds Pumps

Summer time is almost gone...which mean the hot temperature or weather will soon be replaced with cool and them eventually cold or freezing ones. Oh I couldn't wait for the fall and winter times where we would be able to enjoy the outdoors. I don't know about you, but this over 100 degrees is driving me nuts! I am so ready for the cool weather. I think this is the best time to get water pumps and other accessories. At goulds pumps you can find any water waste accessories, irrigation stuffs and turfs. The waterpark where we go to during summer time is a pretty neat park. I think they can use this company for water pumps. I wonder if we can get a small water pumps for our house...hmmm. I better check it out :-).

My Bathroom Habits Says I Am Selfless

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 04:05:00 PM 0 comments
Honestly speaking, every word stated here are very true. I am indeed a selfless person who will give everything I have just to help someone who is in need. Even to this day that I already have my own family, I still help my family overseas; whatever they need, be it emotional or financial support I am here for them. I am glad that I marry a person who is equally selfless as I am and he understand why I am helping my family back home. Serving selflessly is healthy in every relationship. It makes you fell happy at peace and contented. Yeah, and I do love stylish clothes, shy, simple and very practical but romantic at times.

Your Bathroom Habits Say You're Selfless

You are a giving soul. Way too giving, in fact. You often get stuck doing the dirty work that no one else will do.

You spend a lot on clothes, and you tend to be a very stylish dresser. However, it's hard for you to throw away trendy clothes when they go out of style.

You are a little shy and easily embarrassed. You often wonder if you are normal.

In relationships, you are practical and realistic. You have a romantic side, but you only let it out when it's appropriate.

A House Made of Metal

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 03:29:00 PM 0 comments
Right next to the community where we live, there stand a metal building that looks like a house to me. It is so pretty and very unique. Every time we pass by that building, I always tell my husband how much I like that house. He agreed. He told me that it would be neat if we have a house built from metal just like that metal building we both admire. I didn't know he is also fascinated with metal buildings which by the way is very common in the city where we now live. The metal building which I called house is very neat. I like how they painted it. My son J on the other hand thinks that the house is ugly, lol. Oh well, what would you expect from a 7 year old boy? Someday for sure, he would appreciate stuffs that are not attractive to him right now :-).

Saving for Water Softener System

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 03:05:00 PM 0 comments
Oh how I wished that we have at least a water softener systems at home. I am so tired of cleaning our bathrooms fixtures that accumulated a lot of scums. The faucets in the kitchen has got a lot of it, too. To those who have no water softener system at home, I am sure you know what I mean. Hubby and I talked about a water softener system before we moved in to our newly built house; and agreed that it would be a good investment for it will be good for our health as well as our appliances that use water such as washer and  dryer, dishwasher and even the water dispenser. We know how expensive it would be, but we decided to save for it. It's been over a year now, but we still don't have enough savings for it. Maybe if I get a job, then we would be able to afford it.

Finding Nurse Uniforms are Easy

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 02:54:00 PM 0 comments
The other day while I was at the mall with my husband, I did a little shopping myself while he was returning the necklace he bought me for our 10th wedding anniversary last week. I told him that I don't need that expensive necklace; plus I already have a necklace and I do not need another one. And so, we agreed on returning it and just getting myself something I would be able to use. What I did is shopped for  clothes I can use at church on Sundays. I got myself a couple of blouses and a t-shirt which only cost me under $40! It was a deal...I would have paid hundred bucks for the three of them if they are not on clearance sale. After I am done shopping, I met hubby at the fast food and have had our lunch there. While eating our lunch, I thought our son a new pair of sneaker....and so we looked around for a shoe store. Too bad I didn't find the shoe I want to him and so we looked and looked and looked but no luck. I wish finding kids shoes is easy as finding  nursing uniforms. Nursing uniforms are easy to find for they are like everywhere. They are so cute and inexpensive! Oh well, I guess I better check out the outlet mall near our place for J's shoes.

Seasonal Allergy Strikes Again

Posted by Cecile at 9/29/2011 02:38:00 PM 0 comments
The other night J started coughing again. He couldn't sleep and I was so worried about him. He needs at least 10 hours of sleep so he would have energy playing after a whole day at school. I thought his coughing would stop, but after a couple of hours, he was still awake coughing like crazy. As a Mom, I took the liberty of giving him his allergy medicine. Thank goodness, after few minutes, he stopped coughing is is already snoring :-). I wish the allergy would stay away...am so tired of it. In a few more weeks I am sure it is going to get worst and my poor son will going to suffer again. His tonsil will swell again and he would have difficulty swallowing foods. This is not new that is why I am pissed off. I don't understand why I am not getting allergy, but my hubby and son do. I am not jealous..it's just that it is an inconvenience on their part. Oh well, I guess I just need to get use to it and move on.

We Are All Excited!

Posted by Cecile at 9/22/2011 07:27:00 PM 0 comments
A friend of ours from Richardson, TX had made baby announcements about a week ago; and we are all thrilled! Finally, she is pregnant again after losing her third pregnancy almost four years ago. I just hope and pray that she would lose her baby this time. I know hard it is to lose a baby because I have lost mine first child while she was still inside my tummy. It was devastating. I am glad hubby and I were able to cope up with that great trial in our lives...and that God loves us that He even gave us a son whom we love and adore. These past few months, many babies in our ward have been borne healthy. I am happy for their parents. I just wish that we could have more children, but due to my health issue, my doctor advised us not o get pregnant again for it will be very risky both for me and the baby's life. And so we followed hi advised...and we are all happy!

Celebrity Marriages

Posted by Cecile at 9/22/2011 07:15:00 PM 0 comments
I know in my heart that celebrities are human, too. They have feeling and they get hurt sometimes. Sometimes the reason they get hurts is because of the media. And that is so sad and not healthy for them. I don't really watch a lot of movies for not all of the movies they make these days are not really good. It doesn't help us to live morally and in peace. I like those that teach values that doesn't offend God and us. Anyway, every once in a while, while waiting at the counter to pay for my groceries, I will glance at those magazines that talk about celebrities. I like it when I read someone getting married, celebrities that are still married and those that didn't succeed in their marriages. For, I think it is the choices we make depends whether our marriages succeed or not. But unfortunately, many celebrity couples ended on divorce :-(. Oh well, what can they do, right? The recent celebrity wedding news I' ve read was Reese Witherspoon's. I am so happy that finally, she found the guy who is right for her., plus her new husband is not a celebrity. I just hope that this time...would be the last time ...meaning their marriage would last a lifetime so they will all be happy. Now, if that happens...I can call it a healthy and happy marriage.

Wedding Anniversary Gift

Posted by Cecile at 9/16/2011 12:33:00 PM 1 comments
Look at the ring attached here. Doesn't this look great? I'll say It is! I like this ring because it is pretty and costs only under $150. I am wising that my husband would surprise me with this everlon ring I've found online. Everlon Diamond Knot Rope Ring is 1/7ct,  a steal for that price. Hubby can really afford it. Now, I just need to know how to give my husband a hint so he would get this for me as gift for our 10th wedding anniversary next week :-). Got any idea how? Let me know cause I am running out of time, lol.

So much for on that ring, hubby and I planned on going to the temple in the morning and then have a lunch at our favorite Indian restaurant near the temple. I think I need to arrange for a friend to pick my son up at school on the day of our anniversary.

She Looks So Cute

If there is one thing I miss so much is being pregnant again. Yeah, I want to get pregnant again and fulfill my dreams to have a big family. But my sickness cut that dream off. Thank goodness God has given me one precious kid whom we adore so much! I still envy my friends at church who are pregnant and few of them have already given birth. Some are still pregnant and are wearing cute maternity clothes. Kelly, though a little bit big for his size still looks lovely on her  cheap maternity clothes she bought online. Now, that she has given birth to a healthy baby boy, I would be missing her with the cute maternity clothes on. Oh well, am sure she'll get pregnant again in a year or two. For now, I need to visit her and bring her meals she absolutely loves which is egg roll that she always rave about!

The Need for New Bedding

Posted by Cecile at 9/15/2011 08:29:00 PM 0 comments
It's been years since I last purchased comforters and bedspreads for the three beds in our house. And I now consider replacing them with new ones. I am pretty sure that hubby will not agree on that, but I do it anyway for the beds need new bedding. A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I went to the mall for some shopping. She bought a new comforter for the bed in their master bedroom; back then I didn't think about buying one for us. But later on I thought that it would be nice to get new bedspreads and comforters at least for the bed in my son's  bedroom and also for the guestroom.

The other day, while having another lunch date with my friend again, she mentioned to me that she had returned the comforter shoe bought for her husband didn't like the comforter particularly the color and the price. I thought she got great deal on that since it was on sale. Oh well, I thought I would buy mine there, too. Good thing she told that to me, now I know where to buy best looking and quality made bedspreads and comforters; yes it will be online at brylanehome.com. I visited their site and found that they carry the best bedding on the market today :-).

Great Use of Medical Cart

Posted by Cecile at 9/07/2011 08:12:00 PM 0 comments
With my medical condition, I have been in and out of the hospital ever since I was diagnosed with a kidney disease called FSGS and IGA neprophaty.  These two rare diseases caused my kidney to fail drastically. I was very afraid for me, my husband and most of all for my 18 month old baby boy. With my kidney not working, I went for 8 months dialysis before I finally get a transplant. Despite of the successful procedure that I have gone through, I still need to go to the hospital when complications arise. I have seen how the doctors and nurses worked hard to save our lives. I feel blessed to have such caring and kind medical staff who works with love. Nurses are the hard working people I know when it comes to taking care of patience, and I am glad that modern technology made their work easier. The medical cart was a great help for the nurses who works 12 hours a day. To me, it is a work of love...I meant what they do for us, patients. I am grateful for them...forever!

Tenth Year Wedding Anniversary

Posted by Cecile at 9/07/2011 07:28:00 PM 0 comments
Our tenth year wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I don't have any idea of the gift I will give to my dear husband. I wanted to surprise him with something he will be excited about when he opens his gift. But knowing my husband, he always tell me that he doesn't need any gift; and that is the reason why I only buy him card and chocolates. Since it is (our anniversary) very important occasion, I am looking for  boyfriend gift ideas just because I wanted to remind him of the first time we met. He flew all the way from United States to Malaysia to see me...and I think he deserve something special for such sweet thing. If I can't find a gift for him, I am sure he wouldn't mind a dinner date at his favorite restaurant without our son, just us (this time) :-)!

Blessed with Great Doctors

Posted by Cecile at 9/07/2011 06:57:00 PM 0 comments
About three weeks ago, my gynecologist did a Novasure in me. This procedure was requested by my transplant doctor because it is necessary. My monthly period had left me anemic. I suffered severe anemia because of heavy bleeding during my period. I was always tired, dizzy, no energy to do anything and I was always weak. And so, after two years of bleeding excessively, we decided that it is time to do the right thing. Thank God, I agreed to do the procedure, now I am stronger than I've ever been. I am physically active again, happy and no more bed rest and things like that. I am so blessed to have such doctors who look after my health making sure that my health is taken care of. It is nice to be back to my old self again.

A Great Floor Mat for House Floor

Posted by Cecile at 8/25/2011 07:59:00 PM 0 comments
I always wanted to buy a quality and nice looking floor mats, but my husband is always oppose when I talk about expensive stuffs that are durable and long lasting as well as useful. And that is the reason why I seldom buy quality made stuffs for decorating our house. Okay, that was before; now because of the fact the we own a newly built house, he realized that it is time to buy something nice for our house. I think my next project is our floor. I need to save for a better looking floor mats. I was thinking of checking aston martin floor mats. I am pretty sure I would be able to find a floor mats that will match our contemporary furniture and home decor. This time, hubby won't be able to say 'no' to me when it comes to our house decorations :-).

She is Very Lucky!

During our last visit with my in-laws about a month ago, I got the chance to know more of my sister in-law who we happened to see every other year. The family gathering lasted for four day. For that short span of time, I learned that when she was a child, she used to own a horse. Yes, she was a horse rider. Back then, she has everything a good equestrian should have. You name it she has it, from equestrian helmets to a nice looking boots. Having such kind of hobby can be very expensive, but who cares. She was the only girl in the family of five and my parents in-law wanted the best for her. So, she got all she wanted in the world. Isn't she lucky or  what. Despite of that she wasn't a brat at all. Amazing, isn't it?

Hoping for a Healthier Relationship

Posted by Cecile at 8/06/2011 12:32:00 AM 0 comments
Last week, my family and I went to visit my in-laws for a family gathering in New Mexico. Before that, I thought of not going there because I sensed that something bad is going to happen if I do, through enough my bad feeling was confirmed on the first day of our stay there. The four days we spent there was very stressful to me. With my sister in-law who never liked me the moment we first met made my visit a night mare before our visit was over. She managed to voice put what she was feeling for me through my son ( who is very young and innocent ). She was very mad and couldn't stand my presence anymore, took her feeling out of his nephew! She yelled on my son...and trying to depend her dog! The worst thing was that she blamed it on my parenting skills why my son doesn't like her dog! The nerve of questioning my parenting skills while she herself had never has a kid of her own nor not having experienced on how to raise a child. What I expected to be a healthier relationship with my in-laws turned out to be a disaster. What a family of inconsiderate, selfish and immature people. So glad, I have a family who raised me to be a good person despite our poverty. I love my healthy relationship with my own folks, siblings and their families who love me, hubby and Jacob.

I just hope they'll realized how wrong they are for criticizing our parenting skills, and pray that they will change. For now, forgetting what they did is out of my mind....I might forgive what they did...but forgetting would take a long while.

It's Always Sunny - Charlie Got Molested

Guest post of the week by Jeffry Warren

In the first season of the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia the episode Charlie Got Molested stands out as one of the best. The first season did not feature Danny Devito, but still featured many very good episodes. In this episode some former classmates of Charlie's claim they were molested by a gym teacher.

It is revealed that Charlie suggested this while inebriated in order to get revenge and his classmates did it as he suggested in order to sue. During this episode Mac is upset that the former gym coach feels he wasn't attracted enough to be taken advantage. Mac goes over to try to seduce the coach by wearing short shorts.

During this episode Dennis and Dee go to Charlie's mother and tell her about the alleged abuse. This is one of the best episodes because it does not have multiple plots and focuses on one thing. This allows them to make a myriad of more jokes about one particular thing, in this case Charlie's molestation.

This is sometimes aired on the premium network FX on many WwW.sAtellite911.cOm's programming schedules. Granted many of the new episodes of It's Always Sunny are worth watching, but few are as groundbreaking as this one. If you get a chance you should definitely check out the episode Charlie got Molested on your local satellite provider.

Our Summer Vacation

Posted by Cecile at 8/05/2011 09:38:00 PM 2 comments
A couple of months ago, my family and I visited my folks in the Philippines. Prior to that, we asked my brother to see if he can find homes for rent near his house that we can rent while there. Unfortunately, he couldn't find one, so we ended staying at a hotel that is 30 minutes drive away from his place. With that, we paid $300 for our 10 days stayed. I can't complain I guess. Here in United States it could have costs more than that. We also rented a car since my brother's car was not big enough for us; another $300 for that...again for 10 days. Yeah, we spent a lot of money while there, but who cares! I don't care a s long as I spent quality time with my family, that is all that matters; plus we don't get to see them like everyday. Oh how I miss my folks so much! Hopefully, we can visit them again in 2013.

PayDay Loan Can Help Pay Medical Bills

Posted by Cecile at 8/05/2011 09:21:00 PM 0 comments
Today while checking the mails, I noticed a letter from the hospital. I immediately opened it because it was addressed to me. I thought it was from my Ob gynecologist telling me about my upcoming day surgery. But I was wrong. It was a bill from last years iron infusion they gave me. I thought we already paid for it. Had i know we haven't paid it yet, I could have asked my husband to apply for a payday loan, that way we don't have to worry about it now. Good thing we have savings for emergency like this otherwise we would borrow again from hubby's 401K.

Let's Get Physical, Let's Do Zumba!

Posted by Cecile at 7/27/2011 05:22:00 PM 0 comments
When we went for a two week long vacation to the Philippines, I didn't realize tht I will loose weight! Really, I didn't even do some exercise. I just stayed home eate my favorite Filipino foods that I've missed most back in United States. The only thing I can think of why I lost weight was that the weather. It is hot and himid there and it made me sweat a lot without doing anything. I also had diarrhea while there and that helped me loose some weight, too

It's been more than a month since our trip, and I can tell that some of my pants and shorts are loose now. Yay! Now, to maintain that weight or loose more weight, I need to do something aside from walking outside which is hard to do right now since the weather here in Texas is extremely hot! My friend and I were thinking of enrolling into a Zumba class. It would be nice to do that, but she lives at leat 20 minutes away from my house and neither one of us wants to drive that long. So, I thought of buying a Zumba thing so I can do some exercise. I plan on getting myself a wii fit so hubby and I can be active together; how fun would that be, right? Oh, I couldn't wait to get those stuffs

Trendy and Fashionable Scrubs

Posted by Cecile at 7/22/2011 01:49:00 PM 0 comments
It has been said that when you make a fashion statement, everybody will follow. I like the idea that somehow, in my own little way, I am representing a fashionable trend. At work, I make sure that I wear comfortable clothes. Jeans and shirt is fine but I like something voguish and modish while working. It represents the whole aura or personality of one person. Work clothes should always be in style, cool and snazzy! The reason why I love wearing all my colorful uniforms at work.

All my friends who work in health care field, have always showed off their colorful and stylish scrubs clothing and nursing uniforms. It was like a collection of fashion! They’re wearing different colors and style everyday. It represents a certain ambiance while dealing with patients. It creates vibrant personality towards people. I have seen a lot of nursing uniforms but some are just plain, old-fashion look. It didn’t get my attention. I should let them know about this hip website   http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ that offers finest quality nursing scrubs. You’ll find stylish, modern and trendy from scrubs to accessories at it’s finest total quality.

Sony Camera Fanatic

When I was looking for a digital camera for my youngest brother, I was torn between cannon and
sony cameras. I thought they were both good cameras and spending more than what I planned was worth it. We used to have a sony digicam and we liked it! I bet my brother would be very happy had I bought the camera he so desired. Now that we are on the look for a dslr....makes me think whether Sony company is going to make dslr, too! If they do, I would be the first one to but it :-)....seriously!

I Like The Sound Of It!

A barcode scanner is very useful nowadays especially by stores, hospitals and business establishments to name a few. For me, it makes our life easier because we not only save time, but also resourses. I used to work at a grocery store and I have used it a lot! I kind of enjoyed using it :-). I like to hear the sound of it..even now when I am at the check out counter. Weird, but true!

Save More Using Coupons!

Posted by Cecile at 7/09/2011 08:00:00 PM 0 comments
Lately, my husband and I have been noticing that every time we do grocery shopping, we paid more than the last time we did shop for the same amount of items. We don't know what was going on, but we decided to use  coupons to at least save some bucks. Indeed, a little goes a long way.  We even use coupons now when we dine out, shop at the mall, have oil change for our cars and more. Using coupons even saved us $70 on tires purchased. I just wished that airlines have coupons, too so we can save for plane tickets purchase when we go see my folks again overseas. That would be great!

He Needs to Stop Smoking

Posted by Cecile at 7/01/2011 08:40:00 AM 1 comments
When we visited my folks about three weeks ago, I was pleased to learn that my mother's health had improved. Her medicines have been cut off and her high blood pressure and diabetes are on normal condition. My father on the other hand is now under medication for high blood pressure due to his smoking and his eyes are always teary again due to smoking. His doctor told him to stop smoking for it will ruin his eyesight as well. It would be very hard for him to stop because he has been smoking for many years now. I wonder whether electronic cigarette would help him stop gradually. If so, hen I should find a place where they sell electronic cigarette wholesale, that way I can save money when I buy in bulk to send it to my father back home.

The Very Reason I don't Want to Die!

Posted by Cecile at 6/29/2011 08:56:00 AM 0 comments
I was sleepless last night due to my tummy ache particularly on the side when my kidneys are placed. I am worried now that I maybe having another episode of rejection just Christmas of last year. I pray that I am wrong and that the pain is only caused by me being constipated. I tell you, it is hard being sick almost all the time that I am being tired of being sick! It would be so selfish of me to think that I better die than suffer from health; I need to be strong and positive for my son and husband who needs me....as well as my parents who needs me as well. Plus, I am still too young to die. Some people are afraid to die but I am not...am afraid to leave my family...that is what I am afraid about. So glad that God is always there to help sustain my needs...and with that I am forever grateful to HIM and Jesus!

Playing Ball Games, Fun!

Posted by Cecile at 6/25/2011 10:33:00 PM 0 comments
One of the things hubby and I love to do is play sports game. During our family bonding time, we play baseball, badminton, basketball and swim on the lake or pool. We wanted to play ping pong, but didn't get the chance since we are still on the look for a nice ping pong table to be purchased. It would be very nice to get one soon since we have plenty of time to do it with our son who is out of school for the summer. For the meantime, we are happy playing badminton...for he loves it so much! Jake even learn to play pool at my father's house when we were on a two weeks vacation this month.

His Car needs Repair!

Posted by Cecile at 6/10/2011 08:34:00 AM 0 comments
While looking for a car rental few days before our trip to my hometown, my husband and I couldn't decided as to whether we would just have my brother vehicle be repaired instead of renting a car from a rental company. After talking and doing so much research and comparisons, we came to a conclusion to have rent an SUV since it will accommodate more passenger than my brother's car....plus it would really cost us more to have the car repaired. Talking about it, I was wondering how much would it cost my parents in-law to have their rv repair. I bet it would cost like a fortune; don't you think?

She Needs Treatment for Wrinkles

Posted by Cecile at 6/10/2011 08:24:00 AM 0 comments
I know I am not that old enough to get wrinkles, but I am already thinking of a cream that can eliminate my wrinkles to be in the future that is safe and effective like the prototype #37c. I heard that it can eliminate wrinkles without going for a surgery. Isn't it great? My Mom on the other hand will going to need it because just today while talking with her, I noticed that few wrinkles are showing n her forehead now. I think now of purchasing this cream to eliminate those little wrinkles that start to appear on her face, too!

Walking, A Good Exercise

Posted by Cecile at 5/28/2011 12:49:00 PM 1 comments
It is weekend once again; my family and I should be out doing fun things together instead of sitting here in front of my computer. Since hubby had changed hi s work schedule, we don't have weekend family bonding anymore and I feel so sad for that. For me, part of being healthy is spending time with family to relieve stress. Now, we are stuck at home doing nothing. Hmmm, maybe my son and I can go out for a walk to get some fresh air. I think I'll do that! It would be good for our health to get some exercise...and bond at the same time :-).

Affordable Postcard Printing

Posted by Cecile at 5/26/2011 09:50:00 AM 0 comments
I have been looking for a place that does a cheaper postcard print just like the printdirectforless postcard printing company for a little while now. Thank goodness I have found one. Now, I can easily send postcards to my friends overseas and domestic. They have been waiting for the postcards I promised them and it is time to send some. I know they would want to send me some, too..but really I don't need it...but I'll be happy if I get some back, lol. I'll just collect them and maybe put them in frames. What do you think?

Shop for Weight Loss Product

Posted by Cecile at 5/26/2011 09:45:00 AM 0 comments
Just like almost every woman that I know of, shopping is one thing they love to do and I am not one of them. I can't live without shopping. This is not a good hobby...I know, but it helps relieve my stress. It keeps me sane, too. I love shopping for clothes, shoes, purses, and perfume. The only thing that I have never done shopping for is shop for an appetite suppressants that work. Have you? I think I better shop for this product if I really want to lose weight and wear my small size clothes that has been long hidden in my closet. I don't want to give them away for they are my favorite clothes. Plus, I only wore them once or twice. It would take awhile for me to lose weight, but just like every once says, patience, self control and determination are few of the keys into losing weight, and I agree on that!

How To Beat Emotional Eating

Posted by Cecile at 5/17/2011 07:44:00 AM 0 comments
Emotional eating is a very serious condition frequently seen by physicians but not often discussed publicly. It may not get the research dollars like those spent on cancer, nor does it get the attention of heart disease, but it is every bit as serious.

Emotional eating is a condition characterized by either insufficient or excessive food intake to the detriment of one’s physical health. The primary emotional eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.

If we find ourselves in a habit of eating for comfort rather than for hunger, how can we get back on track? May I suggest we start by focusing on a few basics:

Get a good night’s sleep: This is your body’s chance to restore its normal chemistry. This natural tune-up prevents you from feeling physiologically stressed.

Daily aerobic exercise: Getting at least 30 minutes or more per day acts as an emotional outlet, can suppress hunger, and releases mood-stimulating endorphins.

Eat healthy small meals throughout the day: That means eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner with at least 3 food groups included at each meal. I suggest eating a meal of about 400 calories as well as a healthy 100 calorie snack in between each meal. Doing so will keep your metabolism up and stave your hunger.

Other treatments include keeping a calorie log. Write down everything that goes into your mouth. Understanding the caloric content of food makes those Oreos a whole lot less attractive than munching on a fresh apple. Next, get busy with serving others. Studies have proven that volunteerism promotes psychological and physiological well being (including better weight control); after all, it is easier to keep our challenges in perspective when we are focused on others. Finally, consider getting some psychological support. These very serious conditions can lead to other medical disorders—and can even put a person’s life at risk.

Management must include both psychological and medical support. Medications are available, but education and understanding as well as professional counseling can bring about the best results. Appropriate care can lead to a full and healthy life. Denial of the issue only leads to guilt and loss of self-esteem and respect. Let’s become the very best we have the potential of being.

My Best Friend's Wedding

Posted by Cecile at 5/13/2011 04:40:00 PM 0 comments
Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: My Best Friend's Wedding

1. Have you ever lost a friend after he/she got married?
~ No, thank goodness!
2. Do you make friends easily?
~ Yeah, lucky me :-)!
3. Do you have many close friends?
~ I have few, but they are friends I'll keep forever.
4. Tell us about your oldest friend.
~ Okay, she is in the Philippines. A caring, supportive and thoughtful person. And I even consider her as my own sister. I wished my brother chose to marry her...for she likes him a lot! She loves my family and relatives.
5. Tell us about your newest friend.
~ I like her, but just like me..she is not perfect, but I like her still. She is very understanding, giving and we are very closed, too!
6. Do you hang out with your friends often, or just occasionally when you can find time?
~ We hang out very often. We love doing things together...we shop, attend our boys school activities, we go for a walk...anything.
7. What's the furthest you've traveled to visit (or vacation with, etc.) a friend?
~ Two hours...
8. What's the biggest or best thing a friend has ever done for you?
~ She was always there for me to listen when nobody does. She supported and cheered me up when I was heartbroken.
9. What's the worst or most hurtful thing that a friend (or an ex-friend) has done to you?
~ When she lied to me over and over again. I had hard time trusting her anymore, but I am trying my best to give her the benefit of the doubt though.

Durable Trade Show Table Covers

Posted by Cecile at 5/13/2011 03:45:00 PM 0 comments
I learned to love trade shows when my parents in-law introduced it to me and my husband one summertime. I really enjoyed my first trip to that trade show that hubby and I look forward to it every year. Being a very observant person I am, I notice everything on trade shows. Trade show table covers look very durable and would last for a long while. The pattern are so pretty! I bet the trade show people saved a lot of money because they can use it over and over again...rain or shine! Anyway, attending trade show is fun! I get to see many products I've never seen before. I even get to buy something that can be used or be given as a gift.

He Does the Document Scanning

Posted by Cecile at 5/13/2011 03:33:00 PM 0 comments
Yesterday, while reading through my PayPal account, I learned more about Bill Me Later and how can I maximize the use of it when I need to purchase something badly. I didn't realize then that I could charge everything I bought online to Bill me Later. If I want to have all my purchases automatically billed to BML, I would need to send or fax important documents to the BIL office for security reasons. Well, document scanning is necessary either way. I guess my husband needs to do it for me because our scanner is very hard to use. It is very complicated. I couldn't even have the scanner work on my laptop though it say on the manual that it can be used wireless.

Jus Beautiful: My Son

Posted by Cecile at 5/11/2011 05:42:00 PM 5 comments
This photo was taken a year ago during the Easter Egg Hunting at Heartland where we now live. I like the blue color of the sky because it matches the color of the pink cove where Jacob stands. My son played at the playground after the egg hunting. My share on 'just beautiful' this week.

Four Questions to Ask Your Doctor

Posted by Cecile at 5/11/2011 04:58:00 PM 0 comments
Back when I was still healthy, I never thought I would be able to see a doctor very often till I was diagnosed with "Hypertension" that eventually contributed largely on my kidney disease. Even then, I didn't know what to say or do. Good thing I have a very patient and supportive spokesman, my husband :-). He knows just what to ask my doctors every time they say "pre-disease, borderline or mildly elevate" to describe my condition. If you happened to hear these words, here are 4 important questions to ask:

1. How likely it is that I will get this disease?
2. What are the risks and benefits of drug treatment when used long-term in my situation?
3. Is there any evidence that drug treatment for my condition will prevent bad outcomes, like a heart attack or bone fracture?
4. What lifestyle measures can I take to reduce my risk, and when would you like to see me again to gauge my success?

I think asking these question will help educate you the things you should know about your health condition and what can you do to help the doctor heal you or take care of you.

Thinking of Off Road Lights Lately

Posted by Cecile at 5/06/2011 03:58:00 PM 0 comments
Owning a house is an American dream; and if you own one, you are lucky. Having a house is a big responsibility, too! You wanted to protect you greatest and most expensive investment. You can do that by buying a home warranty, insurance and everything. I remember when hubby and I bought our second house almost a year ago. We were both excited for it is a brand new house! Before the contractor built our house, we have gone to the showroom for upgrades. We upgraded the flooring, windows, doors and light fixtures. One thing we have forgotten were flood lights - Off Road Lights. We can't remember why we haven't thought about it before. I guess it is because our place is built on a higher ground. It's been raining a lot here lately but no sign or possibility of flooding. We pray that the flood will never visit us ever!

Protect Your iPod Nano

Posted by Cecile at 5/06/2011 03:42:00 PM 0 comments
Hubby and I love to listen to music when we go walking or exercising. We used to have a radio attached to our belt. But when ipod nano came out of the market, we decided to buy one for it is lighter, smaller and nicer :-). iPod nano is like an investment to us since it isn't cheap. And so we looked for ipod nano cases, too! Good thing we purchased one; now our ipod nano is protected and still looks new considering it is already three years ago since we bought it. On the other hand, I just bought an ipod shuffle for my niece.; I wonder it they will make a case for it, too!
